MUDRAS
Mudras are symbolic gestures in hinduism and buddhism. whilst some mudras involve the whole body, more are performed with hands and fingers. these spiritual gestures are often used in conjunction with yogic breathing exercises. using chakra related mudras help to stimulate and balance specific chakra areas but created energetic circuits for the energy to flow.
You can use mudras during meditation and whilst chanting.

crown chakra
fingers interlocked. little fingers pointing upward.
hands infront of your stomach.

third eye charka
place the tips of your thumbs together pointing towards you. make a heart shape by allowing the straights of your other fingers to touch. extend you middle fingers through, so they now point away from you and place the ends together.
place hands infront of the lower part of your chest

throat chakra
cross fingers on the inside of your hands. though the tips of your thumbs together and have them point upward.
hands infront of stomach.
S H U N I
heart chakra
touch the tip of the thumb and the index finger on both or one hands.
right hand infront of heart, left hand resting on left knee.
H A K I N I
solar plexus chakra
bring your hands together, touching finger tips and interlocking thumbs. point outward.
place mudra infront of stomach.
D H Y A N I
sacral chakra
rest the back of the right hand into the palm of the left. touching the tips of the thumbs lightly, point them upward.
rest hands in your lap.
G Y A N
root chakra
place index and thumb together lightly. keep other fingers relaxed.
sit in lotus position and place your hands on your knees.
